In this update, we’ve brought our library of customizable templates to Linearity Curve and made adding custom fonts easier than ever.
INTEGRATED TEMPLATES
- You can now access Linearity’s high-quality, professionally designed templates directly within Linearity Curve.
- Find all templates easily on your Workspace home screen, neatly categorized by use case for quick access.
- No more downloading and importing templates as separate files—this update streamlines your workflow and provides instant inspiration.
- To preview a template, simply tap it to view in full, and zoom in to explore details.
- Tap “Use Template” to instantly open a template in the Editor screen.
CUSTOM FONTS
- It’s now possible to upload and manage your fonts directly in Linearity Curve, without the need for third-party apps.
- A new button located in the font selector in the Inspector allows you to upload fonts with just a click.
- You can also import several fonts at once, without any extra steps.
- Linearity supports multiple font formats, such as TTF. If your fonts are zipped, you can easily unzip and start using them right away.
IMPROVED MULTI EXPORT
- On macOS, you can now right-click on the canvas, and on iOS, long press to quickly access the "Export To" option.
- A new button allows for easy range selection, helping you export exactly what you need in bulk.
- The export window has been improved to show selected assets at the top, with deselected artboards listed below. This ensures that when exporting, your selection is prioritized.
- When exporting multiple elements or artboards, the files will now be saved within a folder, named after your file. Each exported element will be named based on its corresponding layer or artboard.

AI GRAB
- AI Grab makes it easy to separate a photo’s subject from the background with just one tap.
- Use the dedicated AI Grab button in Linearity Curve’s Inspector to instantly lift the foreground from the rest of the photo.
- AI Grab intelligently fills in any empty space behind the subject by analyzing the context of the image.
- This time-saving feature allows you to jump right into repositioning and editing photo subjects as individual layers, eliminating the need for manual cut-outs.
MULTI EXPORT
- You can now export multiple Artboards at once with our new and improved export screen.
- Choose to export all Artboards or select a specific range from your document.
- Resize individual Artboards directly in the export screen for more flexibility.

In this update, we improve how fonts are handled in Linearity Curve to provide a smoother, more intuitive design experience.
IMPROVED MISSING FONT EXPERIENCE
- When opening a document with missing fonts, you'll now receive an immediate notification via a popup, informing you of any unavailable fonts. This makes it easier to address font issues upfront.
- The popup offers quick solutions, allowing you to resolve font issues more effectively and keep your workflow uninterrupted.
- Text elements with missing fonts are now flagged in the Inspector panel. A warning button will appear, and clicking it will open the Missing Fonts Popup, giving you direct access to resolve the issue right from the Inspector.
- We've added a convenient batch-replace feature within the Missing Fonts Popup. With just a few clicks, you can replace all missing fonts across your document, ensuring your design remains consistent and professional.

This highly anticipated update introduces Workspaces, enabling seamless collaboration with fellow designers. We will roll out Workspaces gradually, so it might take some time to show up for you in the application.
WORKSPACES
- Workspaces introduce a new and convenient way to share your files and collaborate with friends, clients, fellow team members, and others.
- Each Linearity user has their own Workspace. As a Workspace owner, you have the ability to create, delete, and rename Projects.
- Easily invite other people to collaborate by adding them to a Project. Once added, they will be able to view and edit all files within that project. Only the Workspace owner can delete files.
- Projects can contain both, Linearity Curve, and Linearity Move files.
- All your existing files live within your own private project and will only be accessible to you by default. You choose who you want to share files with.

This major update introduces a new way to use AI Backgrounds, empowering you with more flexibility.
AI BACKGROUNDS FREEFORM
- You can now define the aspect ratio and size of your AI-generated background.
- Simply position the selection box over an area of the photo, and adjust it to your desired dimensions. Then, either choose a background or generate your own.
TEXT TOOL SWITCH
- Now, when you insert text into your design, Linearity Curve automatically switches to the Selection Tool, making it easier for you to position on your canvas.
