    - Selection between metric / imperial units is now reflected correctly again within the Apple Watch app (sorry about the inconvenience!)

    Hello fellow climbers!

    This update introduces an all-new Apple Watch app for Redpoint:
    - Completely redesigned & rebuilt using modern SwiftUI technology.
    - Allowing us to make use of the larger Watch screens and build more complex user interfaces.
    - Grades are now always visible at the bottom of the workout view when you swipe down one page.
    - Adds double tap feature for newer Watches.
    - You can now change the grading system during a workout.
    - Improved tracking reliability and sync with phone.

    We’ve been working on this update for the last couple of months, we hope you like it as much as we do!

    Next up, we’ll focus on the iPhone version of Redpoint, especially improving the data visualization, settings and sync with Strava and theCrag.com.

    This update adds a workaround for altitude tracking if you have iOS 17.4 or watchOS 10.4 or newer installed:

    Unfortunately, Apple introduced a bug with the latest updates which prevents barometric data from being delivered to the device.
    Instead of waiting for them to fix this, we have introduced a workaround:

    You now have to grant permission to Motion & Fitness data when you start a new workout.
    This is only necessary once, and afterwards you should be able to use Redpoint as usual.

    I am very sorry for this unexpected behavior!

    On top of that, this update fixes an issue where logging into a TheCrag account could lead to a crash when opening settings.

    Ready for Action?
    This update of Redpoint adds support for the new Apple Watch Ultra and its Action Button!

    On Apple Watch Ultra, open Settings → Action Button → Action → select Workout. Then, go back one page and select the climbing discipline that should be started when pressing the Action Button (for example, “Bouldering”).

    During the workout, suiting actions will automatically be assigned to the Action Button:
    - Log difficulty
    - Log selected difficulty
    - Log selected tick type

    On top of that, Redpoint has been optimized for Apple Watch Ultra’s bigger screen.

    Redpoint 3.6 introduces a new partnership with theCrag.com!

    That means you can now access their catalog of more than 900000 climbing routes all around the globe and assign them with your Redpoint climbs in order to upload them to theCrag.com.

    TheCrag is the largest collaborative rock climbing & bouldering platform. You can sign in, or create a new theCrag account via Redpoint‘s Settings.
    To assign a theCrag route, open the detail view of an ascent and tap "Assign route from TheCrag.com".

    Also new: You can now change the altitude for ascents, if the automatic tracking algorithm didn't do it right!
    For that, go to the Ascent detail view and select "Edit" –> Change Ascent Altitude.

    And: Fixes an issue where the app might crash calculating the number and altitude of ascents if no altitude data points have been recorded.
