CareSens Air

The CareSens Air Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CareSens Air CGMS) allows for continuous monitoring of blood glucose levels when used with the CareSens Air sensor and app. For more detailed information on how to use CareSens Air, please refer to the user manual available within the app. If you require a printed copy of the user manual, please contact your nearest authorised distributor or customer service centre.

The CareSens Air Continuous Glucose Monitoring System is intended for continuous monitoring of blood glucose levels by measuring glucose in the interstitial fluid in people with diabetes mellitus aged 18 years and older. The CareSens Air CGM System is designed to be used alongside, not as a replacement for, standard blood glucose monitoring devices used at home. It helps to detect trends such as hyperglycaemia and hypoglycaemia by providing continuous blood glucose information, allowing you to manage changes in blood glucose levels through trend detection and pattern tracking. The CareSens Air CGM System can also assist in diagnosis and treatment discussions with healthcare professionals. However, glucose readings from the CareSens Air CGM System should not be used to diagnose diabetes or make any medical decisions on their own. The CareSens Air CGM System is suitable for use by patients at home and in healthcare facilities.

The CareSens Air app includes the following features:
- Real-time blood glucose measurements every 5 minutes
- Blood glucose trend arrows and statistics
- Alerts for low and high blood glucose values, rapid changes, and sensor replacement
- Record events such as blood glucose measurements, ketone levels, insulin, medication (oral), meals, and exercise
- Data sharing with the Sens365 app and website
