    "Everything in Life is Vibration."
    -Albert Einstein

Earth's heartbeat, known as the Schumann resonance, is a fascinating phenomenon. It comes to life thanks to approximately 2000 thunderstorms consistently rumbling around our planet, producing around 50 lightning strikes each second. These strikes create electromagnetic waves that circle the Earth, forming the Schumann resonance. Some people see a connection between this resonance and the rise of collective human consciousness. Others even note changes in their own behavior when the resonance's activity heightens.

I've designed this app not just to track the Schumann resonance, but to also visualize crucial space weather indices. These include the Kp-Index, its forecast, and the Hp30 and Hp60 graphs. The Kp-index, a global metric of geomagnetic activity, is particularly interesting for those studying space weather and spectacular phenomena like auroras.

This app is tailored for iOS, offering widgets in various sizes to fit your Home Screens or Control Center. They provide a quick and easy way to view the most current measurements. The Tomsk and Cumiana square widgets present only a cropped part of the graph, to show the most recent measurements. For a broader perspective, the full Tomsk chart provides a three-day history of variations in the Schumann resonance. There is also a Tomsk Forecast widget which let's you choose from the four different frequencies.

I've also added some more widgets for a comprehensive space weather overview. One predicts short-term aurora borealis activity, a result of geomagnetic storms from the sun's coronal mass ejections. Another showcases six live NASA images of the sun, ideal for keeping tabs on solar flares and coronal mass ejections.

The app goes beyond widgets, offering a practical way to compare measurements from both the Tomsk Space Observing System and Cumiana VLF Monitoring Station in Italy. It provides detailed information on all graphs and images, enhancing your understanding of this fascinating field.

To explore the graphs and images more closely, simply tap on any of them to open a full-screen view. You can then use the pinch gesture to zoom in even further and scrutinize every detail.

I'm always looking to improve and expand on the app's features. If there's a data source you'd like to see included, or if you have ideas for new widgets, please get in touch. I built this app to help you delve deeper into the rhythmic pulse of our planet and its connection to the wider universe.

    What's New in EarthBeat v1.4.2
I've resolved the issue with the Tomsk Schumann graphs. Regrettably, given the server's location in Russia, direct communication with the team there has proven nearly impossible, making it challenging to find a long-term fix. However, I've implemented an alternative solution to reduce the strain on their server, which I hope will be effective. Consequently, the pull-to-refresh feature is now restricted to a minimum interval of 5 minutes per refresh. If your previous rating of this app was influenced by this issue, I kindly ask you to reconsider your rating. Thank you!

I'm thrilled to share the release of version 1.3 with you! I've made some important enhancements and added new features that I think you'll find valuable. Here's what's new:

    1) Enhanced Zoom Feature: I've listened to your feedback and have made improvements to the zoom functionality for all graphs and images. The experience is now smoother, more natural, and the visuals are sharper and clearer than ever. You can now explore details with more ease and precision.

    2) New Kp-Index Widget: The biggest addition in this update is the brand-new widget. You can now keep track of the Kp-Index, its forecast, as well as the Hp30 and Hp60 graphs right from your home screen or control center. This makes it easier than ever to stay updated on crucial space weather indices at a glance.

    3) iOS 15 Widget Compatibility: In the past, due to a compiler misconfiguration, the widgets were only functioning on iOS 16 or higher. I've addressed this issue now. Both EarthBeat and its widgets can run on any device with iOS 15 or higher. So, all of you still on iOS 15.x, you can now enjoy the widgets as well!

Remember, your feedback is crucial to me. Please let me know what you think about these new features and if there's anything else you'd like to see in the future. I hope you'll enjoy exploring our planet's rhythm and its connection to the cosmos with these new enhancements!

    “Everything in Life is Vibration.”
    Albert Einstein

The Schumann resonance is Earth's repeating atmospheric heartbeat.
About 2000 thunderstorms move over the Earth at any given time, creating about 50 lightning strikes every second. Each lightning strike produces electromagnetic waves that begin to circle the Earth and form the Schumann resonance. Some people associate the Schumann resonance with the rise of collective human consciousness and an ascension process. Some people notice a behaviour change when activity increases.

Therefore we have created an app where you can quickly monitor the Schumann status on your iOS device.
Just place one of the widgets (small, medium, large and even extra large on iPadOS) on your Home Screens or Control Center and immediately access the Schumann resonance's current measurement from Tomsk Space Observing System or the Cumiana VLF Monitoring Station, Italy. The square widgets view the rightmost part of the original rectangle graph, as this is the area where the current measurements are shown. The full charts show the variations of the Schumann resonance over the last three days.
Two more widgets are available. A short-term prediction of the aurora bolearis - These northern lights are the result of geomagnetic storms caused by the sun's coronal mass ejections. And another widget with six different NASA live pictures from the sun to monitor solar flares or coronal mass ejections.

In addition to the widgets, the app offers access to all the relevant measurements of the two Schumann stations for easy monitoring and comparison. You can have a quick overview in portrait mode and go more into detail in the landscape view of your device. For an even more detailed view just click on any graph or image to zoom in using the pinch gesture.

Is there a data source you're missing or a chart you'd also like to see as a widget? Let us know. We are always open to suggestions.

No new features in this version, but a hotfix for the new Tomsk server addresses. I still have no reply from the Tomsk team about the issue, but this update should fix the weird picture problem for now. I will keep an eye on this and hope they will find a good solution for the copyright issues.
Sorry for the inconvenience, please contact me in case of problems.

EarthBeat is developed by just a one-person team. A 5-star review goes a long way in supporting indie developers. If you like the app, please consider leaving a nice review. If you have issues or requests, please contact info@asv.pt

    应用描述

And another widget with six different NASA live-pictures from the sun to monitor solar flares or coronal mass ejections.

In addition to the widgets, the app offers access to all the relevant measurements of the two Schumann stations for easy monitoring and comparison. You can have a quick overview in portrait mode and go more into detail in the landscape view of your device. You have access to the prediction of aurora bolearis and aurora australis in the app.

Is there a data source you're missing or a chart you'd also like to see as a widget? Let us know. We are always open to suggestions.
