• Why limit your thoughts to a few characters? Now, you have over 300 characters to share your opinions on episodes. Express yourself fully, and the Square is ready to listen.

• Automatic downloads are now more flexible. Choose when downloads activate; whether on WiFi, mobile data, when added to your queue, or only for subscriptions.

• Radio thmanyah cherishes the closeness of its community in the Square, but stepping outside your comfort zone can be refreshing. Now, you can access all Radio thmanyah Squares or stick to the ones you follow.

• We noticed users engage with their listening history more often than their liked playlists. So, we’ve made history more accessible by switching their positions.

• Every minute counts, right? Now, you can see how much time remains in any episode you’ve started, helping you better manage your listening and plan your queue.

• If you’re a host and want to stand out, your name will now feature a microphone symbol, making it easier for your audience to find and connect with you.

• Wondering if episodes in your queue are downloaded? We’ve added color-coded indicators to show you the download status at a glance.

• We heard that our app was tricky to navigate, so we’ve made it clearer. Helpful buttons, like the search icon, are now more visible. We’ve also added guidance in the playback view, making it easy to find episode descriptions and transcripts.

• As a new user, you might be looking for what to listen to. We’ll help you explore shows your friends follow, so you can dive in and get hooked

رجعنا لكم مرة أخرى، لكن هذه المرّة ليس لتعداد الأخطاء التي أُصلحت، بقدر ما نحكي عن المزايا الجديدة:

- غير منطقي تقول رأيك في حلقة بعدد معيّن من الحروف صح؟ الحين، رأيك صارت مساحته أوسع من 300 حرف، عبّر وكل الصالة تسمعك.

- خيار التحميل التلقائي مثالي إذا كان على مزاجك، وصار كذلك الحين. تقدر تخصّص الحالات اللي يتم فيها التحميل التلقائي سواءً على الـWiFi أو البيانات، أو عند إضافتها للطابور، أو فقط من البرامج التي اشتركت فيها!

- راديو ثمانية نفس الأم اللي تحب تشوف أبناءها متجمّعين في الصالة، لكن لا بأس بالخروج من منطقة الراحة، ومشاهدة باقي العالم عن أيش يتكلّمون. الحين تقدر تتابع صالة «جميع» من في الراديو، أو صالة «من تتابعهم فقط».

- لاحظنا تفاعل المستخدمين مع سجلّهم الشخصي، أكثر من تفاعلهم مع قائمة الحلقات التي أعجبوا فيها. لذلك بدّلنا أماكنهم، ونقلنا السجلّ ليصبح قريب لك متى ما احتجته.

- وقتك من ذهب وتحسب كل دقيقة وين تروح؟ تقدر تعرف كم باقي من كل حلقة بدأت تسمعها، حتى تضبط توقّعاتك، وترتب الطابور.

- إذا كنت مقدّم برنامج وودك تميّز اسمك بعلامة فارقة عند جمهورك ومستمعيك؛ سترافق اسمك أيقونة مذياع لتسهيل وصول المتابعين إليك.

- بعد ما تضيف الحلقة للطابور، كنت تحتاج تخمّن إذا تحمّلت أو لا. الآن، ألوان الأزرار لكل حلقة في الطابور تعطيك الجواب، بدون حاجة للتخمين.

- يُقال أن تطبيقنا كان فيه شيء من الغموض، وصعوبة في اكتشاف كل المزايا. لذلك، أزلنا السحابة هذه، وأضفنا أزرار تساعدك، مثل زر أيقونة البحث. ووضعنا كلمات توضيحية عند عرض مشغّل الحلقة، لتبيّن لك مكان وصف الحلقة، والتفريغ النصّي، لتسهّل تعاملك مع التطبيق.

The launch of thmanyah Subscription few days ago has caused an astonishing storm!

We tried in this update to control the storm; reorganize the details in comments section; isolate the music; and show the subscription icon. We fixed some other bugs and you won’t see them again!

As a loyal fan of thmanyah, you must have heard the news! If not, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered.

We launched thmanyah Subscriptions today! With this service, you can enjoy more of thmanyah’s content every day, along with an otherworldly listening experience thanks to our tech features.

Curious how? Here’s the scoop:

• You can listen to your favorite thmanyah productions a week early and always be an episode ahead of everyone else.

• For you specifically, we’ll release extra exclusive episodes. So instead of just four Fnjan episodes a month, you’ll now have even more to enjoy!

• Subscribers will also get exclusive access to returning fan-favorite productions and plenty of new content.

• For our Radio audience, we’re introducing a special feature: transcription of all episodes, allowing you to search for any word in any part of any episode.

• We know a lot of podcast content includes pauses and moments of reflection. That’s why we’ve added a feature to skip those pauses, saving you time and getting straight to the point.

• Not a fan of music? No problem – one click and it’s gone.

• And for fans of our newsletters and elite Arab writers, you’ll now have unlimited access to read as much as you want.

Now, you can enjoy the Radio thmanyah experience in your car, allowing you to listen to podcasts seamlessly and forget about the traffic jams!

As for the other updates, we focused on the finer details. For example, we found the best color shade that’s visually soothing and reduced the number of clicks needed to achieve a desired result.

These are the general updates made to the app:
• It is now possible to tag other users or programs in comments and replies. For example, @SwalifBusiness or @Mashhoor.
• Separating music from podcasts takes time. Now, it is possible to predict when it will be completed. Additionally, after repeating the process of separating music in two consecutive episodes, we will suggest having it automatically removed from all episodes.
• How many times have you uploaded an episode but couldn’t find it in your upload list? How many times have you deleted a downloaded episode but it wouldn’t disappear? How many times were downloaded episodes only playable when the app was open? We’re happy to tell you that these issues have been resolved!
• Importing programs from Apple Podcasts used to be unsuccessful. Maybe Apple is jealous of thmanyah after Abumalih’s statement on X that Radio thmanyah is going to be a global phenomenon! However, this didn’t stop our team from sorting it out.
• We care as much about your visual experience as your audio experience! Therefore, we have adjusted the button colors to be easier on the eyes and cohesive with the background, while using shading to make other buttons more pronounced.
• Our Head of Tech stated that notifications used to multiply and behave unpredictably, but we've now resolved this issue.
• We’ve consolidated likes and comments into a single post when they occur within a short time frame, as having two posts was unnecessary.
• Since Radio thmanya’s feed is all about friends, entering a username when commenting is now mandatory.
• We made the nooks and crannies of the library page smoother.

استيراد البرامج من آبل كان لا يعمل، يمكن لأن آبل زعلانين من راديو ثمانية بعد تصريح أبو مالح بحسابه في «إكس» عن طريق راديو ثمانية إلى العالمية؛ لكن هذا ما كان عائقًا أمام الفريق لإصلاحه.
- مثل ما يهمّنا استماعك؛ تهمّنا الواجهة التي تراها في التطبيق. لذا؛ غيّرنا ألوان الأزرار إلى ألوان أكثر راحة واتساقًا مع الخلفية، وأضفنا ظلّ إلى أزرار أخرى، حتّى نتأكد من وضوحها للمستخدم.

• You can now see the number of comments and likes on a podcast before you start listening to it.

• You will now receive notifications when other users interact with your comments on any playlist.

• Some podcasters are obsessed with details that sadly go unnoticed. one such a detail is changing the cover art with each chapter of the episode. you will now feel a slight vibration each time cover art changes to mark a new chapter.

• We improved the player time accuracy, making smart acceleration even smarter. also, the sleeping timer won’t fall asleep with you and leave the podcast on all night.

• You now have better access to episodes links in the description.

• Listening suggestions are now smarter and faster. you will find new suggestions each time you refresh the page.

• Instead of just showing chapter marks, we now display the duration of each chapter.

• The playlist page design is improved, so you can see the number of followers for each playlist.

• We’re always aiming to reduce the number of clicks! you can now copy an episode’s link with fewer clicks.

• We fixed a lot of issues and improved the app’s stability to offer you a better experience.

هذا التحديث فيه تحسينات رهيبة:

- قبل أن تبدأ أي حلقة، صار بإمكانك معرفة عدد التعليقات والإعجابات عليها.
لو كتبت رأيك عن قائمة، ستصلك الآن إشعارات بالتفاعلات من المستخدمين الآخرين.

- فيه صناع بودكاست مدمنين على التفاصيل، لكن للأسف كثير ما ينتبه لها، أحد هذي التفاصيل هو تغيير صورة الغلاف مع كل فصل في الحلقة. الآن ستشعر بهزة بسيطة عندما تتغير صورة الغلاف مع بداية فصل جديد.

- حلينا مشكلة المشغل مع الزمن، فصار الوقت فيه أدق، والتسارع الذكي أذكى. ومؤقت النوم ما ينام معك ويترك البودكاست يشتغل طوال الليل.

- الوصول لروابط الحلقات في الوصف صار أفضل بكثير.

- اقتراحات المتابعة الآن صارت أذكى وأسرع، وتتغير مع كل مرة تحدث فيها الصفحة بالسحب للأسفل.

- بدلًا من عرض متى يبدأ الفصل، الفصول الآن صارت تعرض معلومة أكثر فائدة: كم مدة الفصل؟

- تصميم صفحة القوائم صار أفضل، وصار بإمكانك معرفة عدد متابعي كل قائمة.

- كل مرة نحاول أن نوصلك إلى ما تريد بعدد نقرات أقل، لذلك قربنا زر نسخ رابط الحلقة أكثر دون الحاجة إلى نقرات كثيرة.

- أصلحنا أخطاء كثيرة وعملنا على تحسين استقرار التطبيق لتجربة أفضل

This month's update is all about transforming the great into the best. Here's how we've improved several features:
-Need to search within a specific show? Now, you can search directly within each show's search box to find the exact episode you're looking for.
-Think playlists are static? WRONG. Newly added episodes weren't marked. Now, we've added a simple indicator so you can easily spot new episodes.
-We've redesigned the commenting experience from the ground up. You can now comment on episodes from anywhere.
-Improved the private accounts experience. You'll now receive follow requests and can choose to accept or decline them.
-Want to share an episode or account without wasting half your day looking for the share icon? You can now share instantly, as the share option is visible in many places like the program page, episode page, playlists, player page, your account page, and member accounts.
-Finding episode descriptions used to be a hassle. Now, you can swipe the player interface and voilà, you’re there!
-Browsing shows horizontally was exhausting and unfamiliar. We've switched to a vertical layout for easier use and display.
-We've fixed the bugs you reported, and even ones no one knew about. before anyone knew about.

Another update this month? It seems we're really getting the hang of this!

Here’s what we’ve got for you this time:
- A new Notification Center to help you keep track of all your notifications in one convenient place—no more missing out!
- We've added a Notifications Settings page, allowing you to tailor notification alerts to your preferences.
- Improved navigation with fixes to page transition bugs and several other enhancements.
- And in all humility, we've added a page for you to rate the app!

Our team has prepared for you a version with many features that we think are essential for enhancing your podcast experience on Radio Thmanyah. Believe me, we have worked on it day and night, non-stop, making up for the long Eid vacation.

— Now, you can see how many people have added an episode to their queue based on your recommendation in the square. The number will appear at the bottom of each comment, and others can see it too.

— This feature is by far the most important one for us! Finally you can create social media links for everything in the app:
1. A link to your account to make it easier for others to find your page and follow you.
2. A link to the show page, rather than just sharing the link of a specific episode.
3. A link to your favorite playlist from the team's recommendations.

— In terms of aesthetics, the team recommendation playlists look more attractive now. Instead of displaying just one list, there's now enough space for two.

— We have fixed 19 bugs in this version; and take my word for it, you don't want to read about them in detail.

Ramadan Kareem from thmanyah team! We're buzzing with excitement to share a couple of cool updates we've cooked up for this special month:

- Ever found yourself wishing you could enjoy your favorite podcasts without the background tunes, especially during Ramadan? Well, we've turned that wish into a reality! Imagine a magical button in your settings that waves goodbye to music in all podcast episodes. Voila! Thanks to some wizardry with artificial intelligence (and a little sweet-talking to our finance buddies), we're making this feature absolutely free for a while. Consider it our Ramadan treat to you

- About those notifications – yeah, we totally get the annoyance. We took our time to make sure when we did introduce them, it'd be something you'd actually like. Now, you can choose to be notified only for the shows and playlists you're really into. and you can activate it for the square interactions as well. We're here to enhance your vibe, not kill it!

- As for the bugs, let's just say our team became superhero bug-squashers overnight. We've tackled so many, counting became a bore. So, send some good vibes our way this Ramadan, and let's hope those bugs stay away for good!
