Introducing iCloud backups!
iCloud backups will now back up your entire journeys, scan sessions, and vehicle signals history. You can configure the frequency and retention of your backups and restore backups from other devices.
Also in this release:
- The Mach-E and Toyota Corolla Hybrid has been fully onboarded, including TPMS and battery state parameters. We're still hunting for 4 Series tpms values!
- You can now configure the fuel tank size for vehicles that have combustion engines, enabling the State widget to be used for vehicles that only report fuel volume remaining instead of fuel tank %.
- Sidecar now supports talking to mid-90's and early 2000's vehicles that use the ISO 9141-2 protocol.
- You can now delete vehicles from your cloud garage.
- A new transmission parameters section is now standard for vehicles.

- Improved rolling average stabilization for fuel levels.

You can now install custom OBD-II CarPlay widgets in Sidecar! Add a Signal Group widget to any layout and configuration it with the parameters you want to see on your CarPlay display.
Voice Guidance is now included as a free update to Sidecar's maps & navigation. Get turn-by-turn guidance along your route using dozens of on-device voice models to choose from, including your Personal Voice if you've created one!
Other improvements in this release include:
- Sidecar now provides 5 minutes of free OBD scanning, making it easier to explore your vehicle's parameters and update widgets at the start of trips.
- A new map view is now available in the journey calendar. See your entire day's journey in one map!
- You can now place widgets in the bottom left corner of any CarPlay layout.
- You can now add a play/pause button to your CarPlay buttons.

The beta Toyota Connected Accounts integration has been fixed and expanded to support more vehicle models.
The weather widget now shows the forecasted weather at your destination when navigating.
Other improvements in this release include:
- If you drive a hybrid Toyota RAV4, the RAV4 Hybrid and RAV4 Prime have been broken out into separate model designations in preparation for OBD onboarding. To update your vehicle registration, open your vehicle's Details page.
- Added a BMW VIN handshake sequence.
- Added more OBD parameter configurations to the OBDb, allowing support for more Toyota vehicles.
- Fixed bug where BMW vehicles would report an OBD speed of ~160 mph while parked.
- Fixed Odometer parameter definitions for the IONIQ 5. If you were previously getting odometer readings of 0, please check your vehicle's Parameters > Connectables and select one of the new Odometer parameters to use.

This release is a patch-fix for Tesla account connectivity.
More vehicle support: Honda Accord, RAM 1500, Lexus IS 300, Audi A4, Chevy Cruze, Wrangler 4xe, Kona EV, and BMW iX3 have been drawn, and more international VINs are now supported.
Speed limits can now be displayed in CarPlay for the road you're currently driving on. Add this widget in your vehicle's "CarPlay widgets" screen in Sidecar.
You can now analyze your historical OBD scan session data within Sidecar.
- Easily view any prior scan session and interactively analyze the most recent session. Easily scrub through your trip data and compare various signals over time.
Don't have a CarPlay unit in your car? You can now activate a CarPlay mode in Sidecar by flipping your phone to landscape with the Journey tab open.
Other improvements:
- Added color to the weather widget.
- Added the ability to select a vehicle make and model from the OBDb when adding an offline vehicle.
- Fixed a bug in the Scan Session analysis page that would cause 29-bit CAN ID sessions not to show chart values.
- Various performance improvements across the OBD scanner, Cloud Sync, trip logging, and local database storage.
- More standard OBD parameters are now supported out of the box, including oxygen sensor readings, hybrid/ev voltage/current parameters, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) data, and engine runtime.
- Classic Bluetooth scanners now auto-reconnect.
- Added support for byteLSB signal processing, enabling more vehicle signal decoding (Kona EV specifically, but likely more to come).
- The OBD terminal and parameters for your connected scanner now appear on the top level of the settings page during an active scanning session.
- Guess the Car now includes model years: the competition's getting harder!
- Polestar account authentication has been fixed.
- vLinker FS and MS are now supported.
- Improved offline vehicle registration flow with VIN scanning + make/model search.

This release is a patch-fix for Tesla account connectivity.
More vehicle support: Honda Accord, RAM 1500, Lexus IS 300, Audi A4, Chevy Cruze, Wrangler 4xe, and Kona EV have been drawn, and more international VINs are now supported.
Speed limits can now be displayed in CarPlay for the road you're currently driving on. Add this widget in your vehicle's "CarPlay widgets" screen in Sidecar.
You can now analyze your historical OBD scan session data within Sidecar.
- Easily view any prior scan session and interactively analyze the most recent session. Easily scrub through your trip data and compare various signals over time.
Don't have a CarPlay unit in your car? You can now activate a CarPlay mode in Sidecar by flipping your phone to landscape with the Journey tab open.
Other improvements:
- More standard OBD parameters are now supported out of the box, including oxygen sensor readings, hybrid/ev voltage/current parameters, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) data, and engine runtime.
- Classic Bluetooth scanners now auto-reconnect.
- Added support for byteLSB signal processing, enabling more vehicle signal decoding (Kona EV specifically, but likely more to come).
- The OBD terminal and parameters for your connected scanner now appear on the top level of the settings page during an active scanning session.
- Guess the Car now includes model years: the competition's getting harder!
- Polestar account authentication has been fixed.
- vLinker FS and MS are now supported.
- Improved offline vehicle registration flow with VIN scanning + make/model search.
- Fixed a bug with bytesLSB signal decoding, affecting the Hyundai Kona Electric speed parameter resolution.
