Proposals
You can now create and send beautiful online quotes, with Proposals, right in the app! You can start from a template, add text and gallery sections, set materials to Fixed, Multiple Choice or Optional, and even drag-and-drop to reorder.
All-Day & Multi-Day Bookings
When a booking is more than one day long, it will now show on each of the days it’s booked for, in all schedule views. In the Calendar, you can see how many days it’s booked, and what day you’re up to. Plus, it’s now possible to book All-Day jobs across multiple days, in the app.
Smarter Item Search
Searching for an Item/Service is faster and easier, with the ability to search with part of an item’s code or name, in any order.
Bundles Search
When browsing Bundles to add to the job, it’s now possible to search for the specific Bundle you’re after.
Edit Forms
After completing certificates, inspections or reports on site with the Forms Add-on, if you make a mistake or forget something, you can now revisit all types of fields in a completed Form. Just open it from the Diary, tap Edit, and you can work back through the Form.
Check In & Navigation Optimisation
When you tap Start Job, you can now choose whether to Notify Client & Navigate to Job, all in one view, for a streamlined check-in experience.
Tap to Pay on iPhone | UK & Canada Support
The ability to accept in-person, contactless payments, right on your iPhone — from physical debit and credit cards, to Apple Pay and other digital wallets — is now available in the UK, Canada, Australia & the USA.
Deposits with ServiceM8 Pay
It’s now possible to accept a percentage deposit (pre-payment) on site upon quote acceptance, with ServiceM8 Pay.
Photo Browsing Improvements
To make it easy to browse and find specific photos, when you filter the Diary to ‘Photos & Videos’, it will now expand to show all photos, grouped by time and staff member.
Checklist Improvements
Checklists are now more powerful, plus they’re easier to create and manage in the app. You can assign checklist tasks to staff members, attach a reminder to a task, create multiple checklists, and drag-and-drop to reorder.
Auto Quote & Auto Invoice
ServiceM8 can draft your description of Work Completed and a list of Items/Services to charge for, in seconds. Simply review, make any required changes, then send!
ServiceM8 Chat Improvements
ServiceM8 Chat, your voice-activated assistant, can now do more for you — you can now send any SMS Template, add billable items to the job, get tips on how to use ServiceM8 itself, or discuss general topics, all with your voice.
Badge Prominence
Badges now appear at the top of the job card, under the client’s details, to increase their visibility and the chance of field technicians noticing them.
