• Added lists of mapped values to exported configuration files that include commented setting names to make them easier to understand and update.
CHANGES & IMPROVEMENTS
• Automatically disable the iOS/iPadOS Autofill popup option for text fields to prevent access to or storing of Contacts and Passcodes by visitors. This feature is only included in and available for iOS 17+ devices. Added a new remote-update-only setting 'kp_disable_UIMenuAutoFill' if this feature needs to be disabled for devices not available to the general public.
• Changed the default for 'Allow Universal Links to Open Other Apps' to ON, allowing universal links in HTML pages to open other native apps if installed and supported. These links will only execute if the app is NOT locked in Guided Access or Single App Mode. This change was made to prevent interference with standard link behavior, particularly for JavaScript events triggered by user interactions. Users who have previously installed our 11.2 and/or 11.2.1 update should consider manually updating this setting.
FIXED
• Corrected an issue where the "Apply" method under "Apply Settings Transferred via AirDrop" was updating settings correctly but incorrectly notified the user that settings had been not updated.
• Fixed a bug where wildcard domains (e.g. *.example.com) in the Allowed Domains and/or Restricted Domains list were not always being matched correctly for URLs including the ‘www’ subdomain.
• Resolved an issue causing flickering when loading PDF pages on certain devices.

NEW FEATURES
• Automatically customize how content is displayed by applying a specific zoom level from 50% to 300%. This zoom level can be applied globally to all content and/or customized for specific URLs.
• Apply custom CSS styling and/or zoom levels in more targeted ways by excluding specific URLs from a customization rule set.
• Customize the Idle Time Reset Alert by displaying a graphic instead of the default native alert.
• Configure a different Blocked Request Alert Text String to be shown on certain URLs.
• Added support for Apple’s native Web Inspector tools for devices running iOS/iPadOS 16.4 or later to allow users creating content for Kiosk Pro the ability to inspect page layout and styling, debug JavaScript requests, and more.
CHANGES & IMPROVEMENTS
• If Dark Mode is enabled in system settings, the app will now display certain elements using that theme, including the on-screen keyboard, native JavaScript alerts, and text selection (if enabled).
• New configuration options for settings exports add the ability to export Managed App Configuration files as PLIST for MDMs that prefer that format, export without commented header information and/or settings names, and automatically minimize file size.
• Options to validate configuration files for Remote Settings Control and Managed App Configuration have been moved to Advanced Settings as exporting these files is now the recommended best practice, removing the need for validation.
• Universal links now default to opening in Kiosk Pro’s web view – this behavior can be toggled to allow a universal link in an HTML page to open another native app if installed and supported.
• Improved reporting for the Remote Management Server to more clearly communicate when a remote update of locally stored content has finished successfully.
• Improved analytics reporting through the Remote Management Server by streamlining local URLs and adding support for passing a title parameter when displaying PDF files.

• A new setting, Clear Data at End of Night Mode Session, has been added to allow clearing of all data on a regular schedule.
CHANGES & IMPROVEMENTS
• We’ve loosened type matching for Managed App Configuration to better support MDMs that only allow passing custom variables as string-type values. If Kiosk Pro can match a string that is passed to a possible value, that value will be applied regardless of the value type defined – for example, passing the strings ‘true’ or ‘1’ to a setting that uses a boolean value type will be successfully matched. This makes customizing the app’s settings for a specific device or group of devices much more flexible.
• Clear Data on Relaunch & Remote Update has been moved from Advanced Settings to the Memory & Privacy section of main settings for visibility.
• More user-friendly page titles are used when sharing a document using the iOS/iPadOS sharing menu.

FIXED
• Locally stored files whose filenames contained spaces (or other special characters that would require encoding when used as a URL) in combination with uppercase letters were not being recognized by the app. A change in iOS/iPadOS 16 caused the app to automatically convert text strings (like our Homepage setting) to lowercase when encoding spaces and other special characters. As the local file system is case-sensitive on iOS/iPadOS, the app was then unable to match the text string to the actual file.

Kiosk Pro Plus is compatible with most web content, including HTML web pages, PDFs, and multimedia (including .mp4 video). While certain Powerpoint, Keynote, and Word files are also supported, they are displayed as static documents. Kiosk Pro Plus cannot display pop-ups, other apps, or Flash-based content.
To prevent visitors from exiting Kiosk Pro Plus, you must enable Guided Access in the iPad settings or use Apple’s Configurator app to supervise the iPad into Single App Mode.
