How to Use

a. Watch
Select the desired video from the drum video list or find videos through the search function (coming soon) and watch them.

b. Tune
Click the "Top Lug" and "Bottom Lug" buttons to listen to each pitch and tune until you reach the desired sound.

Getting Started

Select the "Measure & Customize" mode.
Press the Save (floppy disk-shaped) button to input and save the name of the Drum Kit or individual drums.
One set of saved data consists of groups like Snare Drum, 10”, 12”, 13”, 14”, 16”, 18” Tom Drum.

Measuring

Choose the type of drum to be tuned.
Two measurements are required for each drum.
For the first measurement, tune to the values suggested by the app.
Click the 'Top Lug' button and the 'Bottom Lug' button and tune each lug until you achieve the desired pitch.
Record the Fundamental value after the measurement.
For the second measurement, tune the Top Lug Pitch and Bottom Lug Pitch to the values suggested by the app.
Record the Fundamental value after the measurement.
Once the measurements are complete, press the save button to overwrite.

Using

After the measurement is complete, below the screen, you will find a list of values that allow you to tune to your desired Fundamental Pitch, 
spanning 12 different notes from the same pitch to the octave in both higher and lower octaves.
You can touch each value manually, and the Signal Generator will play the corresponding pitch, allowing you to listen with your ear.
You can use the Adjustment feature to correct any discrepancies.

[When tuning by ear without measurement tools]

In the case of the "happy" (tuning reference) note, it will measure about half a step lower than what you hear.
Tune slightly higher until it seems higher than the perceived pitch.
The top and bottom heads are organically connected, so when there is a significant change in the pitch of each head, you need to flip the top and bottom heads multiple times to adjust the pitch.

Genre-Specific Recommended Pitches for Tom Tom Drums

In this mode, you can tune your drums to a tone similar to the drum sound in the drum performance videos.
The snare drum measurements are regularly updated, and you can view them categorized by favorites, searches, genres, and pitches.
Please note that the suggested tuning values are measured by the developer and might have some degree of error.
However, through this, you can achieve a tone that closely matches the video.

How to Use

a. Watch

Select the desired video from the list of drum performance videos or use the search function (coming soon) to find and watch videos.

b. Tune

Click the "Top Lug" button and the "Bottom Lug" button to tune while listening to each pitch, tuning until you reach the desired sound.

Precautions

Remove the snare drum and toms from the stands.
Place them on a surface like the floor or a rotating platform where the bottom is blocked.
Mute the bottom head using materials like towels to prevent it from vibrating, then proceed with tuning.
