A blessing for us all, then, that her many experiences with death and renewed life have shaped her into a hero who is concerned not with the self but with the collective on a grand scale.

Bastion:
Forged as the ultimate mutant eliminating Sentinel, Sebastion "Bastion" Gilberti is a Sentinel born human, destined to bring the future to the present day. With his prime Sentinels at his side, Bastion will do everything in his power to bring humanity to the next stage of evolution, even if it means trampling over the pathetic state of humanity as it exists today.

The Dark Phoenix Saga
Arriving to the unique multiversal Nexus of The Battlerealm, Dark Phoenix is fascinated by the existence of several other variants of herself. Dark, light, Jean, all here and all powerful. They see The Battlerealm as a perfect place to burn down and build anew with this abundance of power and possibility.

Event Quest - Grey Matter
Krakoa calls for aid as a mysterious ISO-infused infection is causing mutant mayhem! Nightcrawler and The Summoner try to help, but every step they take leads to more trouble. Jean Grey is thankfully able to put her mind on the task, but darkness is brewing in labs below the base. Will they be able to think of a way out? Find out in GREY MATTER!

Side Quest - Phoenix Force Five
The multiversal mayhem has shared Dark Phoenix’s power with other mighty Champions, and now it falls to the Summoner to redirect this fiery force! Be careful about what fights you pick, as each week the battles you choose will seal your fate!

Everest Quest - Grandmasters Gauntlet
Behold The Ordeal! This new Quest is a variation on the original Grandmaster’s Gauntlet, with the key difference being that all defenders will be 7-Star, Rank 4 and max Level versions of the Champions from the original Quest. Summoners will also be limited to bringing only 7-Star Champions into the Quest. Do you have what it takes to conquer this challenge?

Nightmare Raids
Alliances that crave a tougher challenge can test their teams against Nightmare Raids! This version of Raids operates the same as the existing map, but features different and much more punishing bosses. Plan ahead to give your Alliance the best chance of defeating the bosses and claiming lucrative rewards.

International Women’s Day
We have teamed up with 7 of our wonderful female Developers and Content Creator partners to let the Battlerealm decide on a Champion to be reworked this year. Each Developer or Content Creator will represent a different Champion, and Summoners will complete Solo Objectives and take part in Realm Events in order to determine which fearsome Champion will reign supreme!

Cyclops (Blue Team) Double Track Event
Take part in this new Double Track Event to collect Cyclops (Blue Team) themed cosmetics and up to a 7-Star Cyclops (Blue Team)!

Eidol Essences
Introducing Eidol Essences! These new items will be available for collection throughout the Contest and will be used to trade for upcoming Eidol Champions. The first Eidol Essence to collect is Light Essence, which can be gathered throughout the Contest to earn the newest Eidol Champion, Lumatrix!

Loki Charms
Loki is bringing Saint Patrick’s Day to the contest this year! Take part in Solo Objectives to earn plenty of Gold, Units and a rainbow of ISO-8, as well as a new User Title! Offers will also be available to collect certain green Champions!

NEW CHAMPIONS

Arnim Zola
A brilliant Swiss scientist and the world’s foremost authority in biochemistry and genetic engineering, Zola strove to create an army of super-soldiers and helped with the founding of Hydra. When his own body failed, Zola discovered a way to digitize his consciousness, transferring his mind into a robotic body. In this immortal mechanical form, Zola has worked to ensure the dominance of both Hydra and his own genius throughout the decades.

Falcon (Joaquin Torres) - OUR 300th CHAMPION!
Joaquín Torres came to the United States with his family at a young age, always with the aspiration to do good by them, and by his heritage. While on a supply run to assist his local community, he was kidnapped by the Sons of the Serpent, and sent for experimentation. Eventually he was rescued by Sam Wilson, but it was too late and Joaquín was already made into a falcon/human hybrid. With this irreversible mutation, Joaquín accepted his powers and took the mantle of the new Falcon. He now fights alongside Sam as one of America’s newest Heroes.

Event Quest - Screen Time
Avenger’s tower has gone silent and Eli Bradly and Joaquin Torres (AKA Patriot and Falcon) will need to investigate. However they will be facing off against friends and foes alike as Arnim Zola breaks the calm with reveals of his villainous plots. Will the team be able to take in the whole picture? Or will they be blinded by the sinister science of Zola? Find out in SCREEN TIME!

Side Quest - ‘Til Deathless Do Us Part
Captain America and the new Falcon, are on a diplomatic mission to see if The Avengers can broker peace with the new Deathless faction that has sprung up in The Battlerealm. Surprisingly, the Deathless are amenable to an alliance, but some villains are also vying for the Deathless' support. The heroic duo will have to compete for the top spot as the Deathless' new BFF.

Everest Quest - Epoch of Pain
After testing you for 4 seasons, Ares has prepared your final exam. Do you have what it takes to conquer the latest permanent Everest quest, the Epoch of Pain?

Incursions Deathless Saga Sector
Take your Deathless Champions into the latest Incursions Saga Sector and fight for Deathless Signature Stones and a generic Rank-Up Gem!

Daily Super Event 2.0
We are introducing a change to the visual presentation of the Daily Super Event. There is now a widget that lives permanently on the home screen, and will be accessible whenever the navigation bar is expanded on every other screen. This change is intended to make the event, as well as progress in the event, more visible and easily accessible. Quick access navigation buttons on the home screen, such as flash offers, stash, calendars and daily cards are also being moved to live in this new navigation area.

An experienced warrior and member of the Dora Milaje, Okoye fights alongside and protects the King of Wakanda, the Black Panther. With unrivaled close-combat expertise, and a matching degree of wisdom, there are few who can survive an encounter against Okoye.

Deathless Saga
The Deathless have been testing The Summoner to see if they are worthy of joining their ruthless ranks. Though they have defeated four of the Deathless so far, Deathless Thanos still needs further proof of their brutality in battle and wisdom in war. So as the Deathless continue to spread destruction and mayhem, The Summoner will be tasked with constant tests of strength.

Event Quest - Precious Metal
Nezhno Abidemi, AKA GENTLE, has recruited The Summoner to assist with a stealth mission on behalf of Wakanda. It seems that the recently regrown land of Wakanda has been plagued with troubles as a result of a strangely spreading Vibranium corrosion. Everyone from Shuri to OKOYE is trying to solve the mystery of why this core component of technology, armor, and weapons is crumbling to dust. But is this metal destruction a natural disaster, or manufactured mayhem?

Side-Quest - Vaults of the Deathless
Okoye is facing off against forces she has never seen before. So she’ll need someone familiar with the Deathless by her side! These dark doppelgangers have stolen powerful Wakandan artifacts to charge a dark ritual that must be stopped!

To retrieve these artifacts (and earn rewards) you’ll need to track them by earning KIMOYO BEADS in the DEATH DRIVE EVENT which will allow you to maneuver through THE DEATHLESS RITUALS and earn Mysterium and DEATHLESS SIGILS.

Then face down The Deathless directly when you use these Deathless Sigils to open up Paths in VAULT OF STRENGTH, VAULT OF VIOLENCE, VAULT OF CONVICTION AND VAULT OF RAGE SIDE QUESTS! Topple these paths to earn even more rewards!

Deathless Mausoleum
The Deathless have been testing our strongest warriors for some time. Some have even deemed these challengers to be mighty enough to join their dark forces.

The leader of this frightful order DEATHLESS THANOS has a final test for those daring, courageous, or perhaps foolish enough to deem themselves worthy of his attention.

To finally acquire Deathless Thanos you will need to complete this unforgiving challenge!

Golden Circle Rework:
For ages, or at least a good long while, the GOLDEN CIRCLE QUEST allowed players to fight against Goldpool to earn much needed Gold. However the Deadpool Pals have decided that all these rewards shouldn’t JUST be coming out of Goldpool’s deep pockets, so they’ve literally and thematically pooled their resources to form the GOLDPOOL DAILY QUEST to replace the Golden Circle.

This Daily Quest will allow Summoners (even those without their Sigil activated) to find a new source of Gold! This Quest is tuned to all Title Progressions and available to all Summoners DAILY.

After a devastating explosion damaged their core, Isophyne entered a state of regeneration, absorbing ISO-8 across the Battlerealm for untold years to slowly reconstruct their body. Now awakened and furious with the clear abundance of inferior lifeforms in the Battlerealm, Isophyne will not hesitate to purge every last Champion to restore The Battlerealm to its former state of flawless superiority.

10TH ANNIVERSARY EVENTS AND FEATURE UPDATES

Banquet Event & 10 Year Anniversary
Join us in our 10 year anniversary celebration and the return of the Banquet Event! These celebrations will feature special Calendars, Quests, Double Track and Realm Events; as well as holiday gifts, Banquet Crystals and Accolade voting.

Grand 10x10 Supply Drop
From December 10 to December 19, be sure to check in to The Contest every day to be rewarded with a free Champion in the Grand 10x10 Supply Drop. All Summoners who check in for the full drop will get a free Isophyne. Paragon or higher Summoners will be receiving 10x 7-Star Champions!

60 Frames Per Second
After 10 years, The Contest is looking better than ever with this latest update that includes 60 FPS! Flip the toggle in the Settings menu to have The Contest Sparkle and Shine with flawless movement and enhanced visuals on every fight waiting for you in The Battlerealm!

Keep an eye out for Special Anniversary Carina’s Challenges featuring unique and Deathless rewards.

Summoner Level Cap Increase:
We are raising the cap on Summoner Levels! You will now be able to reach new heights by climbing to level 70. With this cap increase, we are also introducing a new way to view level rewards. On your Summoner profile, you will now notice a button where the text for your Summoner Level used to be. This will open up the level reward track where you can see what rewards await you! You will need to hunt down a new resource, called Refined XP, so keep an eye out around The Battlerealm for this lucrative reward.

Finally, alongside rewards such as item capacity increases and new cosmetic items, a number of levels between 61 and 70 will contain long-awaited additional mastery points, so start hunting down Refined XP and take your account to the next level!

Its presence is not natural, but rather a symptom of a focused attack! The radiation from the element is turning friend against friend and truly putting the BATTLE in The Battlerealm. Will The Summoner find the source of this attack, or will The Contest fall to these VIOLENT DELIGHTS?

Side-Quest - Chrono-versary Part 2
H.E.R.B.I.E. and The Summoner’s chrono-cataloging of the Champions of The Contest continues!

As a reminder, The Summoner may only conduct this census using Champions who appeared in The Contest in the same year as those being investigated. NEW CHAMPIONS

Spiral
Spiral is a six-armed sorceress and swordswoman originating from Mojoworld. Once a talented stuntwoman named Rita Wayword, she was cybernetically transformed by the loathsome Mojo, whom she was forced to serve. Initially an adversary to Longshot and the X-Men, she eventually made amends, and has fought beside them on many occasions. Her magic is powered by dance-like progressions of Wushu forms, which she further enhances with her many arms and armaments.

Dazzler
Alison Blaire, better known by her stage name Dazzler, is a famous singer and powerful Mutant with the ability to convert sound into stunning displays of light. While she tries to focus on her music career, Alison constantly seems to get roped into saving the world. Whether she winds up fighting alongside the X-Men, thrown into deep space, or even pulled into alternate dimensions, Dazzler always maintains her rhythm.

Event Quest - Sparkle and Shine
Ever since The World Tree started regrowing Manhattan, the city has been home to vicious villainy. Bullseye made it a hunting ground, Arcade made it a wicked amusement park, and now finally Mojo has claimed the city as the final arena for a winner-takes-all tournament! Will the surprising final round pick DAZZLER be a show stopper? Or will the masterful and menacing multitasking of SPIRAL cut Dazzler’s performance short? Find out in SPARKLE AND SHINE!

Side-Quest - Chrono-versary Part 1
After 10 years of multidimensional events and quantum entanglements, The Fantastic Four have tasked H.E.R.B.I.E. and The Summoner with chrono-cataloging the Champions of The Contest.

To prevent potential chronological disturbance, The Summoner may only conduct this census using Champions who appeared in The Contest in the same year as those being investigated. So dust off that roster and Rank Up those classic Champions, because the 10th Anniversary of The Contest of Champions is going to be a battle for (and through) the ages!

This special anniversary Side-Quest will be running all the way to the end of the year with PART 2 arriving in December! So take your time (but not too much time) as you face down these epic eras of The Contest!


Events Screen Updates
We have updated the Events screen to include visual and quality of life improvements. These include; scaling UI based on device width, increased ‘Claim’ button size, the addition of an ‘Expiring Soon’ state, and improvements to notification badging, visual transitions and filtering.

Daily Super Event Returns!
The Daily Super Event that we launched earlier in the year is making its permanent return! Keep an eye out later in November for the much anticipated event reactivation.

Glorious Games - Incursions Saga Sector
The Incursions Saga Sector returns for Glorious Games! Grab your best roster of Saga Champions and dive into this challenge sector to earn rewards such as Banquet Tickets, 7-Star Shards and a 7-Star Saga Rank Up Gem (Rank 1-2).

NEW CHAMPIONS
Scream
Daughter of Venom, sister to Carnage, Scream is one of five Symbiotes forcibly harvested from Venom by the Life Foundation. The symbiote that would become Scream was bonded to Donna Diego, one of the Life Foundation's most trusted Security Guards. Unfortunately, Scream and her siblings lost their altercations with Spider-Man and Venom, but they survived the Life Foundation’s collapse. Scream and Donna were left with only each other and a grudge against other symbiotes.

Jack O' Lantern
“Jack” was always a rotten pumpkin. At a young age, one lonesome Halloween night he unknowingly approached the house of Crime-Master, who kidnapped him and trained him as his protégé. Over time, Jack became a master assassin, developing a calling card where he placed candles inside the heads of his victims, to simulate the appearance of a jack-o-lantern. He took that name as his own, and erased those who had used it in the past.

Deathless She-Hulk
In years past, Champions from the Death Realm staged an assault on The Battlerealm. Empowered by the Death Stone, Thanos created Nameless, empty versions of the heroes of the Battlerealm. Of these Nameless Champions, a select few were granted malicious will and elevated to become the Deathless, to lead his armies and sow chaos and destruction. She-Hulk was the fourth and last (for now) Champion so elevated. Seeing law and order for the weak lies they are, she now lives to spread pain and chaos throughout an unprepared Battlerealm.


NEW QUESTS AND EVENTS
Event Quest - House Of Horrors
Jessica Jones has recruited The Summoner to help her crack a case. It seems that someone has a serious symbiote stalking problem and all clues lead to a creepy killer carnival. Scream is already on the scene making noise, but things really light up as Jack O’Lantern activates abominable animatronics! Is this a ride our heroes will survive? Or is this about to become a ghost story? Find out in HOUSE OF HORRORS!

Side-Quest - Jack’s Bounty-full Hunt
As the Maestro’s festivities continue, Jack O’Lantern finds himself as the host of the Gladiatorial Games. Seeing an opportunity to kill two birds (or any Champions in range) with one stone, he fills the arena with would-be assassination targets and has them fight amongst themselves!

Bosses from previous Event Quests have snuck back into The Battlerealm! Help track down and defeat these bosses once again in 1v1 fights! You’ll need to be part of an Alliance to to get the most out of these Missions so be sure to find your team and join in the action! Take down more Bounties, get more rewards, and unlock Elite Bounty Boards which will let you take on even more challenging Champions. This Event resets each week so don’t let those Bounties go to waste!

Deadpool's Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza Alliance Super Season
Deadpool wants us all to just be one big happy Alliance family. An Alliance is like a family that celebrates one another, shares the riches, and DOES BATTLE WITH OTHER FAMILIES! Special Solo Objectives and Alliance Events will reward you for playing Multiplayer modes such as Alliance Wars, Alliance Quests, Incursions, and Battlegrounds. Go show that teamwork makes the taco-flavored dream work!

NEW CHAMPIONS
Scream
Daughter of Venom, sister to Carnage, Scream is one of five Symbiotes forcibly harvested from Venom by the Life Foundation. The symbiote that would become Scream was bonded to Donna Diego, one of the Life Foundation's most trusted Security Guards. Unfortunately, Scream and her siblings lost their altercations with Spider-Man and Venom, but they survived the Life Foundation’s collapse. Scream and Donna were left with only each other and a grudge against other symbiotes.

Jack O' Lantern
“Jack” was always a rotten pumpkin. At a young age, one lonesome Halloween night he unknowingly approached the house of Crime-Master, who kidnapped him and trained him as his protégé. Over time, Jack became a master assassin, developing a calling card where he placed candles inside the heads of his victims, to simulate the appearance of a jack-o-lantern. He took that name as his own, and erased those who had used it in the past.

Deathless She-Hulk
In years past, Champions from the Death Realm staged an assault on The Battlerealm. Empowered by the Death Stone, Thanos created Nameless, empty versions of the heroes of the Battlerealm. Of these Nameless Champions, a select few were granted malicious will and elevated to become the Deathless, to lead his armies and sow chaos and destruction. She-Hulk was the fourth and last (for now) Champion so elevated. Seeing law and order for the weak lies they are, she now lives to spread pain and chaos throughout an unprepared Battlerealm.

Event Quest - House Of Horrors
Jessica Jones has recruited The Summoner to help her crack a case. It seems that someone has a serious symbiote stalking problem and all clues lead to a creepy killer carnival. Scream is already on the scene making noise, but things really light up as Jack O’Lantern activates abominable animatronics! Is this a ride our heroes will survive? Or is this about to become a ghost story? Find out in HOUSE OF HORRORS!

Side-Quest - Jack’s Bounty-full Hunt
As the Maestro’s festivities continue, Jack O’Lantern finds himself as the host of the Gladiatorial Games. Seeing an opportunity to kill two birds (or any Champions in range) with one stone, he fills the arena with would-be assassination targets and has them fight amongst themselves!

NEW CHAMPIONS

Count Nefaria
Count Luchino Nefaria was the descendant of a long line of Italian noblemen, and used his wealth and connections to become a powerful leader within the Maggia crime syndicate. He furthered his rise to power by subjecting himself to scientific experiments that granted him superhuman abilities, but cost him his life. He was later resurrected as a being made entirely of Ionic energy, rendering him effectively immortal as long as he drains other Ionic beings to maintain his power.

Shathra
Daughter of the Elder Goddesses Oshtur and Gaea, Shathra comes from the world that would come to be known as Loomworld. Shathra was tasked with creating the Celestial Map of Humanity, however, after being outdone by her younger sister Neith, she became enraged with jealousy and spite towards her sister and the Great Web she had designed. Consumed by her vengeance and envy, Shathra gave into her feral nature to tear down everything her sister created, one Spider at a time.

Event Quest - Lupus In Fabula
There has been an undertaking to overthrow The Collector’s ship! The Summoner is being called in to evict these evil-doers! But as they make it deeper into the ship they also find themselves deeper in trouble as each villain seems to be making their own plans for how best to make the most of The Collector’s treasures. Will The Summoner be able to manage these miscreants? Or will they go down with the ship? Find out in LUPUS IN FABULA!

Side Quest - Ludum Maximus
The Maestro has declared four months of celebratory games to honor his return. The festivities begin with the Circus Maximus, an onslaught of games and challenges hosted by Count Nefaria. The Count will not accept anything less than the best, the mightiest, the greatest of games. So dare to enter LUDUM MAXIMUS!

Nefaria knows that a true battle is a mix of skill and luck, so 5x weekly Maps will open which present randomized Paths filled with fearsome foes!

Act 9; Chapter 1
Glykhan has self-destructed but the sinister plotting of Ouroboros is far from over. However clues for where to head next seem few and far between. Luckily (depending on your definition of luck) Superior Kang has some secrets to share in the form of holo-tapes scattered around Battleworld. Mister Fantastic and Doctor Doom send The Summoner on an intel retrieval mission, but they aren’t the only ones looking for answers. Will the past come back to haunt The Battlerealm? Glorious Games
Introducing our third Saga: Glorious Games! To celebrate the history of the Contest and his triumphant return, The Maestro has declared four months of celebratory games. Each month of the Saga will revolve around a different element of games, starting with September's Circus Maximus and culminating in the celebration of December's Grand Banquet! Featuring a classical antiquity aesthetic, an exciting Champion chase, surprise Champion reworks and brand new kinds of Events and Quests, Glorious Games is sure to usher in our 10-year anniversary celebration in style!

Realm Events
Get ready to work alongside every Summoner in the Battlerealm! Realm Events are a brand new type of Event in which points will be contributed on a global level. Milestone rewards can be claimed once global and individual point contribution thresholds have been reached. For those more competitively-inclined Summoners, ranked rewards will also be up for grabs, including an exclusive and unique player title.
